This controversy isn't nearly as mind-numbingly stupid as last June's Hallmark greeting card "racism" flap, but disputes over perceived bigotry sometimes just come down to the eye of the beholder.  The background on this racially-tinged controversy du jour:  Duncan Hines has removed an online ad featuring "hip hop cupcakes," after receiving complaints that the beatboxing treats appear to be portrayed in black face. breaks down the row and notes -- perhaps relevantly -- that the director of the spot has a history of producing edgy content.
