Oh, I bet the folks back home in oh-so-religious San Francisco are so very pleased with Nancy calling up what she sees as a socialist worker saint. So laughable like everything else she does. She's so ditzy - it's almost like watching reruns of the Mary Tyler Moore show. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the woman third in line for the presidency. Please pray for Barack Obama's health and safety if for this only - to keep her away from the White House. Actually if she became president it would set back the Democrat Party about 50 years. It's funny to think about after you get past the gag reflex.

Pelosi couldn't possibly refer to praying to Joseph the husband. It's way too religious. By confusing her days she can fool people who don't know any better what a defender of the little man she is - praying to Joseph the worker. I'm sure someone on her staff - an atheist no doubt - supplied her with this whole idea. The rest of us will avoid praying to anyone else and stick to what it says in the Bible and pray not to saints but to God above to save us from the electoral foolishness that was the 2008 presidential election.

Liberals who try to envoke religion for political purposes always end up looking foolish. At least if and when conservatives do it they know what they're talking about.

Catholics are not supposed to pray about money and power which is actually what she is doing. It is a sacrilege to St. Joseph or to any saint.

Actually, March 19th in the Catholic calendar IS NOT the feast of St. Joseph the Worker, but of St. Joseph Husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The feast of St. Joseph the Worker is on May 1st in the Catholic calendar.

This JUST SHOWS HOW IGNORANT Pelosi is about the Catholic faith...

In fact, she's already been corrected by her own bishop on the issue of abortion (remember "Saint Augustine-gate"?)

She should have been excommunicated from the Catholic Church.

ANd the IRONY in all her blabber: if the Jewish and/or Roman authorities would have had "health care", Mary would have been forced to abort the baby... and Pelosi wouldn't have had anyone to pray to (if she prays at all!!!)

Well, I have news to tell you. The majority of Catholic nuns, in the thousands, oppose this as well as the U.S Conference of Catholic Bishops and 95% of U.S. Catholics. The other 5% aren't real Roman Catholics, they are CINO's, or Catholic In Name Only or Christian In Name Only.
