An appropriate apology -- even though Sean is not the one editing b-roll.

My beef is with fox. Both sides of the aisle have fringe elements but Fox organized the 9/12 Tea Parties and then distorted the facts surrounding them, including using video. That is exactly what propoganda is. Do you believe it was an innocent mistake? That canned footage from two months ago was accidently added to the piece? I dont watch CNN, Fox, or MSNBC. I do watch the daily show and colbert report nightly and read this website and others that lean left. BTW, Fox is the mainstream media they just want you to believe that they aren't.
I don't think the hatred at any rally can be quantified. There were plenty of whackjobs at the anti war rallies but does that justify reactionary expressions of hate against Obama. Union...

Nice to see you decided to change the verbiage. There were very few signs that showed Obama in a bad light compared to the signs that we had seen over the last three years of the Bush presidency. I attended a number of rallies and most of the signs were against high taxes, a government that does not listen to the people and of course opposition to health care. You certainly cannot compare the hatred that the left showed towards Bush to these 9/12 or Tea Party people.
Now it is too bad that you have a problem with Fox exciting people to take notice and take back their country. I guess you would rather they sat back and watch MSNBC so they could be told that as Mitchell put it they had to convince people that this health care...

What's not to respect? Healthcare for is Hitlerian. Our debate skills are undebateable! Fox tells the truth always. Except when they lie. Which is hardly never.

Incite was a poor choice of verbage. Excite was probably better but Fox continues to manipulate people and footage in order make their opinions seem stronger and that is not what a news organization does. This was hardly a unique occasion.
Do you really think all the 9/12 protestors were respectful? Did you seen the signs that compared Obama to Hitler, Stalin, et al? Did you think the people who did that to Bush were respectful? Thanks for lumping me in with thugs and unions for simply making a comment on a message. Impressive debate skills.

Incites the 9/12 crowd. Excuse me, did you even bother to watch the videos of the 9/12 crowd and see how respectfully they acted. Jealous you are. Your group cannot possible gather that many people without some of the union guys beating someone up, perhaps biting off a finger, leaving what would liken a garbage dump when they are left and probably setting a few things on fire.
These people who are fighting to take back their country are far more respectful than that gang of thugs your group has put in the White House and you thugs that voted for them.

What did he "incite" them to do? Storm the White House? Burn the Capitol to the ground? Pick up their litter?
Sheesh - one bit of incorrectly used video of a crowd and it's "propoganda"? What was the piece about that it made so much difference and has you with your panties all bunched up? Must have been something earth-shattering I guess.

First the Fox Producer incites the crowd on 9/12 and now they merge protest days to fit their propoganda. God Bless Real America!!!!

I think disciplining is something they do behind the scenes.
However, if you drive down to the Fox Studios, they might just allow you in to watch the stoning of that felony act.
By the way, the Legacy media did their best to marginalize and minimalize the attendace numbers at that previous "tea party" gathering in Washington. It became laughable, their banter about it.
We've not heard a word from them in correcting their "official" crowd estimates of 876, no, 875 people.

Jon Stewart is not the "appropriate" person for Hannity to apologize to. Hannity didn't do anything to Jon Stewart, did he?
Hannity's show deceived his viewers: they're the ones he should be apologizing to.

This was not inadvertant as Sean maintains. It took consious effort to locate, retrieve, and include the 9/12 footage in the current report.
He apologized, which was good, but should have disaplined the individual who carried out this ruse and reported that fact on the air.
We don't want Fox News becoming another drive-by media outlet!

All of the apologies we've not heard from the plethora of Liberals who've racked up huge indescretions.
The congressman from Orlando who called a female lobbyist, "a wh ore".
The same lowlife congressman who lied about republican intentions on healthcare plan.
John Edwards? Negative.
Bill Moyers? Nada
Katie Couric? Nary a word.
Joe Wilson? Oh, wait, he apologized.
Van Jones? Only silence.
Anita Dunn? Nothing.
Charles Rangel? Birds chirping...
Sean Hannity? Yep, he's made good.
Barack Obama? Nope.
"Being a Liberal means never having to say, 'I'm sorry'".

You make a mistake.
It gets pointed out.
You acknowledge the mistake and apologize.
AWESOME !!!
Now, if we could only get the looney left media to do the same.

Sean: We have Elroy from Elkhorn Springs, Id on the line.
Elroy: Hey Sean. You know I think
Sean: You're a great American Elroy!
Elroy: Yeah, thanks. Listen about the study on bacon
Sean: Did you know Obama wants to tax 99% of all bacon?! He may be a muslem, no, not really! But isn't it strange that he is always after pork products?
Elroy: I didn't
Sean: Always after the American Farmer! He hates farms. He hates pigs. Obama is going after agriculture.
Elroy: But
Sean: Now Elroy, thanks for calling and I want to remind everyone that we're having the Great American Barbecue and Banjo Pickin' Picnic next Saturday in Monkey's Sack, UT and Obama can't stop us. It's a benefit for our fine American soldiers...
