The bipartisan group Secure America Now just released a poll that showed 63% of Americans support Rep. Pete King's congressional hearing series analyzing Islamic radicalization in the United States.
King released a statement saying, “The results of this poll demonstrate broad public support for the series of hearings that I convened in March to examine the ongoing and real threat of terrorist radicalization within the Muslim-American community. In fact, 9/11 Commission Co-Chair Lee Hamilton testified recently that ‘the greatest current terrorist threat to the United States is from Islamist extremists’ and that we also face ‘the addition of home-grown threats.’"
King previously came under criticism for holding the hearings.
