Benghazi is Back!

Fox News reports that the State Department Inspector General's office is probing the Accountability Review Board (ARB) that investigated the Benghazi attacks and conveniently found fault well below the level of Hillary Clinton.

It seems that the ARB declined to hear from witnesses with pertinent information to offer -- and even failed to interview Hillary Clinton.  But the existence of the "investigation" allowed Clinton and the President to avoid commenting on the matter when interest was at its height.

This week, in the wake of the President's awful press conference, Jay Carney made the mistake of characterizing the attack as a "long time ago." This shriekingly blatant effort to characterize the matter as old news was a play out of the playbook used so often during the scandals of the Clinton administration.  And who would remember those  manuevers better than people like long-time Washington power plays Joe DiGenova and his wife Victoria Toensing -- who are now representing the Benghazi whistleblowers?

This was the best week for accountability on Benghazi that the American people have had in a long, long time.
