Political junkies across the country -- and the political spectrum -- have been stunned by the news of Tim Russert's death.  According to the linked piece, he died while recording voiceovers for this week's edition of "Meet the Press."

He leaves behind a wife and son, and our prayers are with them.

I didn't always agree with Tim Russert, but he was a fine man, who loved his family, his country and his work.   May he rest in peace.
