Cain campaign says the allegations are "thinly sourced"
Michele Bachmann was the Christian “bigot” of July, and now it’s October. So evidently, we now need the media to be outraged about another Christian position that isn’t news and was perpetrated by the newest “bigot” – Dr. Robert Jeffress, pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas.
"If you love me, you've got to help me pass this bill."
As someone who was born in the seventies in North Carolina and grew up admiring people like Muhammad Ali, Satchel Paige, and even Malcolm X (Yes, really) that was a pretty good example of the world I grew up in.
Brian Williams must crave attention. In the latest Republican debate, instead of moderating, he personally debated all the participants. The actual discussion between candidates was more civil and constructive than the endless string of gotcha speeches foisted as questions on the panel by NBC's Williams and his Politico sidekick, John Harris.
In their quest to widen the low-road and increase its rider-ship, the liberal Washington, D.C-based Politico just offered up this hackneyed but oh so predictable headline: “Is Rick Perry Dumb?”
The Politico article quotes a "prominent Democratic strategist aligned with the White House" as confessing that, "Unless things change and Obama can run on accomplishments, he will have to kill Romney."
Ronald Reagan was a remarkable negotiator, both incredibly patient and principled. Negotiating was one of his greatest but most unappreciated attributes, to the point where I've many times considered doing a book strictly on Reagan as a negotiator.
There’s a new boogeyman in town and its name is “Corporate Jet.” It’s not quite the thing of comic book villains, but it is a joke. President Obama, the comedian-in-chief, launched into a tirade against the evil corporate jet owners in his press conference Wednesday.
"Rep. Bachmann is at the top of the hit parade among GOP candidates for the GOP nomination and so it is her turn to have every English language reporter on the planet take a shot at seeing if he or she can be the one who cuts Bachmann down to size."
Why are so many conservatives wary of Jon Huntsman?
Nowhere is the strike zone more generous than in politics where slander and character assassination is expected. However, the new chairman of the Democratic National Committee is getting pounded for creating a new low standard.
Since my column last Sunday Congressman Anthony Weiner has confessed that he’s the one how sent the infamous “junk shot,” and an even more...”infamous” one has come to light since. There’s no point in going into the mia culpa, the pregnancy or any of the details that have been so ably covered by others, however there is one part of the scandal Id’ like to point out - the clean up.
Obama got the votes of 80% or more of "journalists" covering the 2008 election. That in and of itself should be news, but is not. Instead, it's just one of many red flags waved in the face of Republicans, conservatives and those who believe in traditional values who in turn, dismiss this reality with a shrug of their shoulders while saying, "That's the way it is. That's the status quo."
The White House visitor logs reveal a lot of things. For example, there are a heckuva lot of people that like to bowl at the White House lanes. Also, Richard Trumka had an Oval Office meeting with the president on October 4th, two days after the unions’ “One Nation Working Together” event.
I was at my favorite cigar bar in Miami this past week when one of my good conservative Cuban aficionados asked me if I could really vote for Trump
