Who says Occupy Wall Street hasn't accomplished something specific?
Everyone’s a pundit in a year like this one, and those who’ve long been talking about the upcoming election have heavily debated whether 2012 will be similar to 1980.
Earlier this week, a Virginia-based organization came under fire for leading 3rd grade students at Woodbrook Elementary in Charlottesville to write a song titled "We Are Part of the 99."
Or, at least, that's what she yelled to a cheering Occupy Rose Parade crowd.
"When president Obama is here I hope we are in the crowd making the same sounds about his policies."
They will follow police at the end of the parade with their float: a 70-by-40-foot octopus created out of recycled bags. It represents Wall Street who will "reach into your pocket to get your money and a tentacle to get your house."
Try to contain your excitement.
Again proving they are just average Americans -- with an affection for creepy masks -- protesting peacefully.
"You talk about the 1 percent as if they are the only group affected by your actions."
“No matter your thoughts about the Occupy Wall Street movement, the protesters were right in at least one respect: The rich are getting richer, and the poor are getting poorer.”

We have come to appreciate the Occupiers for their fundamental misunderstanding of economics. We’ve also come to look forward to the latest arrest statistics or video of delusional protesters weeping for their Lost Tent City.
