I disagree with the entire concept of man-made "global warming" in the first place, but even if it exists, the odds that government will do something reasonable about it is close to zero.

In the April edition, the publication Nature Climate Change acknowledges that global warming has been paused, at least between the period from 2000 to 2010. This time the culprit is the most ingenious energy storage mechanism ever- the ocean. Oh my.

The tree thefts are just one of the bizarre consequences of the EU’s adoption of the climate change narrative. One of the newest revelations, reported by The Economist, is: “By far the largest so-called renewable fuel used in Europe is wood”—which it calls “the fuel of the future.”

Just as the Associated Press has axed the term Islamist- pun intended- we have replaced your handle with a more apt phrase: Global Warming Islamist. Thank you.

If only everyone would be gay for a few days per year, it seems G. Roger is saying, we could be more ethical, unrestrained, under-populated, democratic and, most importantly, a lot colder. Or warmer if you live in one of those places that is unfortunate enough to be colder as a result of global warming.

Data actually suggests that the earth stopped warming 15 years ago. This pause in warming wasn’t anticipated in any climate change models created by global warming advocates. It must have been an executive order.

Though no speech transcript exists, the Santa Fe New Mexican covered Hansen’s presentation at the Institute, during which he predicted catastrophes, such as rising seas and species extinctions “if carbon-based fuels continue to be used at the same rate as today.”

The sad part is that it’s not just ditzy news anchors who propagate bad science, it’s bad scientists who propagate ditzy news.

The biggest storm we’ll face won’t be Nemo, in other words; it will be the blizzard of pseudo-scientific, trash journalistic, moralizing, hypocrisizing and hyperventilating rain of ink that will tie the storm to the effects of global warming.

We’ll need blizzards of hilarity to withstand the up-and-coming storm, which will be the worst storm ever since, well, the last “WORST-STORM-EVER!” Even in the midst of an outbreak of global warming, snow still, after all, eventually melts. Even in New England.

A leftist think tank in DC is now arguing that we should work less, which means we will produce less and consume less energy. In other words, they are openly asserting that we should all endure lower living standards.

For generations, presidents have used their inaugural address to unite the nation in aspiring to new heights of achievement. But earlier this week President Obama chose to deliver a harshly ideological, aggressively partisan speech more appropriate for the campaign trail than the solemn occasion of our nation's 57th inaugural address. Rather than bring all Americans together with a celebration of common ground, his address read like a liberal laundry list with global warming at the top.

“Superstorm” Sandy killed more than 100 people, destroyed thousands of homes and businesses, and left millions without food, water, electricity, sanitation or shelter for days or even weeks. Our thoughts and prayers remain focused on its victims, many of whom are still grieving as they struggle with the storm’s wintry aftermath and try to rebuild their lives.

The eighteenth Conference of Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP-18) has ended. It was the latest chapter in the interminable negotiations over wealth redistribution and control of energy use and economic growth – in the name of preventing “dangerous manmade global warming.”
