President Obama, highly aware of the re-election vulnerability that comes with high gas prices, continues to hide behind tired “it’s not my fault” campaign rhetoric, while using the opportunity to call for an expansion of his failed subsidy policies.
Last month the Obamas hosted a White House conference on bullying. It was intended as a show of support for victims, but watching this president in action, it might just as easily have been a tutorial.
Many Americans believe that whenever a politician opens his mouth, something pops out other than the truth. But on the issue of energy, this President has really stepped into an issue and now seems able to maintain his political credibility solely with more lies and obfuscation.
