Ever since congressional Republicans forced Democrats' hand with their budget stipulations in last year's debt ceiling deal, a flurry of budgets have been put out by different legislators and caucuses. It's sometimes hard to keep track.
Barack Obama's failed job policies are facing bitter criticism from African-American leaders who say black unemployment has grown worse under his presidency.
Well the Congressional Black Caucus is having their annual legislative week in Washington DC this week opining about their favorite subject "racism". They can't seem to stop reminding their audience that President Obama and his Democratic machine continues to champion their causes and if Romney is elected, we will return to the days of the great plantations.
Although we don’t have all of the facts surrounding the circumstances of what happened between George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin, some things are certain. The way the media, President Obama, race baiter Al Sharpton, celebrities, the Congressional Black Caucus and other politicians have responded to the situation, is embarrassing to say the least.
I have noted time and again that in a discussion of politics the first person to inject the topic of race into the discussion is often the racist. This time it was in a discussion of politics on MSNBC led by Lawrence O'Donnell, who interviewed Herman Cain, the surprising "non politician" who is fast becoming a powerful contender for the Republican presidential nomination.
Obama seems to believe that his policies and efforts have been successful. Obama thinks we need to continue down the same path, that he "stood up for a different vision and did what was right." Sadly, it would seem that our President is not merely wrong, but delusional.
If there was ever any doubt that the Democrats take the black vote for granted, that doubt should have been put to rest when Barack Obama told the Congressional Black Caucus, "Stop whining!"
President Obama does not miss an opportunity to point out that the problems this country is facing today did not start on his watch
You know President Obama thinks he is in trouble with his liberal base when he lapses into what used to be called "jive talk" before an audience of Congressional Black Caucus members. Dropping his "g's", the president admonished the group to "stop complainin'."
"You woke the bears! Why did you do that?"
A rattled tone of desperation has taken hold of President Obama's once self-confident rhetoric as he struggles to rally his party's dispirited political base.
Poor President Obama. His leftist backers have momentarily fallen out of love with him for not destroying the country fast enough. Obama must ask himself, "What would Hugo Chavez do?"
President Obama addresses the Congressional Black Caucus. He requests renewed support for his job plan and for an end to the "complaining" from his African-American constituents.
Congresswoman Maxine Waters, former chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, voices her response to Obama's call to "stop complaining."
Well according to CBSNews, Obama's not letting people off as easily this time around. He’s not going to let you slackers idly worship him as the single greatest president in the history of MSNBC without you showing some elbow grease for his efforts.
