The jobs number this morning was, to say the least, disappointing. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics the unemployment rate remained at 8.2% but the economy added only about 80,000 jobs - far below the "whisper number" which was north of 110,000 - and farther below the number needed to bring the unemployment rate down. ... more
