Bill Newell still claims that he didn't technically let guns walk and that the only thing he regrets is a lack of "risk assessment". From top to bottom they relied on some narrow definition that allowed the guns to flow down a greased corridor to the cartels and provided charts and deadly statistics for the NSA at the WH. Horowitz did his job by replacing Schnedar and protecting Lanny Breuer and above. Containment is still the goal.

Washington D.C. - According to credible ATF sources, officials heavily involved in Operation Fast and Furious and named as partially responsible for the program's failure by Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz and the House Oversight Committee have been stripped of their government security clearances while some have been fired, demoted, and transferred. Criminal charges are also reportedly pending.
