John, One HUGE credibility issue with me and Romney, is that Romney is MAN enough to admit Romneycare is wrong. He stated that it seemed right at the time, but that in hindsight if he had to do it over, he would have done differently. I was REAL hard on Romney in the last 2 years. Being a contributor to media and a member of 4 T.E.A. groups including message board duty at TPP. It's all on the archives. What many out there do not know, is that Romney is more TEA now than GOP. The New York GOP 'stablishment is none too happy...

Are you living in an alternate universe or only hear selectively, zerrubabel? Everyone seems to have been hypnotized to forget the 2008 GOP primary. Think really hard, take your time. Romney's big swat was that RomneyCare was the best thing ever for, what is nothing less than, socialized medicine. It has never paid for itself and has run ever more deeply in red ink until treatments and quality of care have been cut back. True that Massachusetts can't print money; but, its social medical scheme couldn't work without receiving Medicaid from the U.S. government. Romney, back then, insisted we needed it for the country and he was the man to bring it.

Fast forward to the most recent GOP primary. Romney was for ObamaCare. Then he was going to fix ObamaCare. Then he was against ObamaCare. Now he is back to fixing it, whatever that means as he is thin on details. The man has been running for POTUS since 2006. He could not have even been re-elected as governor. If there was ever a time perfectly suited for this flip-flopper to win the otherwise unwinable, it is now. Don't bet the farm on what he will actually do in any area when he wins. We are simply swapping evil for evil. I've never seen a time when that was a good, long-range forecast.

So what? Romney is now campaigning on eliminating ocare, and he will have a tea party Cong. to push him to do it.

Anyone who is still on this Romneisnodifferentthanobamanaiton is a troll for Paul, a man who cares othing for the US and only for his own ego.

Wow. renny4. I didn't think it was possible for any one person to be so wrong. but you are.

Still believing that politicians will fix everything huh?

The presidential playbook generally calls for a successful candidate to swing to the middle when they are running unopposed for their party’s nomination.

But as we enter perhaps the final three months of the Obama administration, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for anyone to make an appeal to the center, if indeed a center even exists in American politics anymore.

Obama has destroyed the political center in this country, and for that we can be thankful.

Because Obama’s policies have exposed the basic problem with the bipartisan approach favored by establishment Republicans and so-called Blue Dog Democrats.
