Except by the logic that violent crime is the result of "violent culture" then crime statistics should be way up across the board right? But this is just not the case. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_in_the_United_States Since 1990 we've actually experienced a decline in violent crimes across the board. While I do not disagree that perhaps we should examine our culture, I do not think there is any evidence that correlates violent media to an increase in violent crime.
