You're right. Our founders where overwhelmingly Christian to some degree or another. I don't deny history, but there's really no middle ground. We are a secular country that respects the rights of all it's citizens to believe what they want, or we aren't. Mr. Barber's article suggests that we must institute Christian law to save our country. He has the right to that opinion, but we have to accept that if we want to be a country of Christian morality, then we must become a theocracy. Otherwise we have to embrace rationalism and the rights of those who aren't Christian. Take for instance gay marriage. Most Christian's believe it's morally wrong.
