Can a Conscientious Liberal Back Obama?

In other words, Obama is a Republican hawk. Yes, we liberals are aware of this - the covert wars, the casual murder of civilians, the executive-ordered targeted assassinations of US citizens, the indefinite detentions, etc. Obama's first term was more like the third term of George W Bush. And if I'm not mistaken, Romney used the word "poverty" 5 times in the last debate. Obama avoided it altogether. Even so, I'll vote for him. And he'll win too. Why? Because the GOP is offering an even worse alternative - much, much worse. If only McCain hadn't made such an insane choice for his running mate - we might have had a decent president in the white house for the past 4 years. But Romney? Thanks, but no thanks.
