You sound like a white supremacist version of Joe McCarthy.
"I stand firm in the belief that their rejection is simply a moral one." As do I. The Bible is a horrific book that espouses a terrible immorality. It paints God in the image of man. "Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and tortuous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness with which more than half the Bible is filled, it would be more consistant that we call it the word of a demon than the word of God. It is a history of wickedness that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind; and, for my part, I sincerely detest it, as I detest everything that is cruel." - Thomas Paine, The Age of Reason
Of course, the slave-owners were primarily Christians too.
Derek Hunter accuses other journalists of lying about the killer's use of an assault weapon in the slaying of these children - when that's precisely what happened: NEWTOWN, Conn. (AP) — The gunman behind the Connecticut elementary school massacre stormed into the building and shot 20 children at least twice with a high-powered rifle, executing some at close range and killing adults who tried to stop the carnage, authorities said Saturday. The Newtown Bee — The shooter used an assault rifle as the primary weapon, Dr Carver said. In the seven autopsies which he performed, the number of gunshot wounds per person ranged from 3 to 11, he said. Derek Hunter is hypocrisy personified. Not to mention a lazy, poor excuse for a journalist.
I have to wonder why posters like AmyDB don't call you on misogynistic garbage like this. And - don't tell me - I'm guessing you probably have a really hard time believing in things like evolution or climate change, but have no problem believing in talking snakes?

It's just that those principles changes from day to day, depending on the audience.

Why did Mitt lose? The answer is so simple that everyone has completely missed it. Women made up 54% of the electorate. (Men, 46%) That's an 8 point variance in voter turn-out. 55% of women voted for Obama vs. 43% for Romney - a 12 point variance. 52% of men voted for Romney vs. 45% for Obama - a 7 point variance (amongst a much smaller pool of voters.) The fellas never stood a chance. Women would decide this election. And indeed they did. We already knew how the minority vote (blacks, hispanics) would skew - there were no surprises to be found there. The real question was - How would the female voting bloc react to the so-called "war on women" narrative that was feverishly spun by both sides? Well, now we know.

"Every election predictor was wrong, except one: Incumbents usually win." I guess Ann doesn't pay attention to genuine statisticians like Nate Silver (538 blog) or sites like election.princeton.edu. The outcome of this election was no surprise. It's just math - and not even complicated math. http://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/math.png

Sarah Palin: Don't Lose Heart

The biggest loser of this election cycle was Rasmussen (and Karl Rove and Dìck Morris). Rasmussen's polling methodology has always been grossly biased and scientically unsound. But I'm certain that townhall.com (along with Fox News) will continue to use him as their primary source of polling data. People don't want truth - they'd rather hear "news" that reaffirms their own biases.
