I disagree. If Romney had come out swinging hard on any issue, The liberal Media would have crucified him with a total blackout of all other news just as they did with his minor statements that were critical of their messiah. And just as the takers believed those lies, they would have believed the massive lies simply because they would have been told over and over. The liberal media impacted this election unfairly and the takers bought the lies. And the takers do outnumber the makers now. The end is here.

They crucified him anyway. Mitt is a weak, wimpy "moderate" and behaved accordingly throughout the campaign. That's why he lost.

If Romney had strong principles, he could have stood up to the liberal media as Reagan did. Reagan stayed positive, stayed on message and overcame the medias constant attacks. He'd smile, wave and says something like "Well, there you go again." Two landslide victories and it has not been tried since.

Has the nation gone irreversibly blue? Did intraparty disunity sabotage Mitt Romney's presidential quest? Or is there some other explanation for the nation's re-election of a president with the worst record in decades?


I received an email from a brilliant conservative friend who wonders whether Republicans can ever win another election and thus whether the nation is forever lost. I ran into a college student at church the Sunday before the election, and despite his strong conservatism and high intelligence, he admitted confusion about the candidates' respective positions after the presidential debates.
