What's Happening in Williamsburg: The GOP "Retreats"

Every time I Call, Write, or email My representatives. The 1st thing I tell them is that I want TERM LIMITS for all elected officials. Until the majority of constituents are telling them that. It will fall on deaf ears. Once the majority of people are applying that pressure and keep applying it we will have TERM LIMITS. This country will not survive with CAREER POLITICIANS.. I wonder how many people actually contact their representatives?

Term limits are every two years for the house and every six years for the senate. You keep passing the blame. Campaign for your desired representative, campaign against those who are not.

If that doesn't work, move.

But don't try to blame the representatives for not passing their own political death sentence.

No wonder they ignore you---they can tell you want them to go away, which isn't what they want...

Also demand a repeal of the 17th Amendment and return the selection of the Senators to the STATE Legislatre as the Founders desired.

Term limit the Democrats at the ballot box.

I am beside myself that David Dreier has been replaced with a Dem

Why? Dreier needed to go. He was virtually indistinguishable from a Democrat, so it was no loss. I was in your district, and I talked to his staff people. They told me that I was wrong when I said that supporting the debt ceiling plan last year increases spending. I tried to explain baseline accounting. They ignored it and repeated their denials. It turned into a loud argument.

Dreier needed to go. Good riddance.

Better than the cow who replaced him. Check out her web site. She is a radical leftist.

Well, at least she doesn't lie about it. Too much.

Republicans who say on thing and do another are our real problem. We simply can't plan anything as long as they are out there. We need reliable representatives.

I'm in Wisconsin but as a political junkie, I agree. We need more OUT, John BARACK Boehner, the re elected WEEPER of the House is another one..I hope everyone here will donate to any challenger in a primary. I am still angry the GOP did not defend Herman Cain nor demand an investigation into the fraud in Allan West's district. A district the Florida GOP gerrymanded him into, a Demon RAT districtl.

The welcoming remarks of an unidentified member of the senior GOP House leadership to the assembled Republican conference gathering for a "retreat" in Williamsburg have leaked:

Welcome to Williamsburg, Members of the House Republican Conference. We hope you enjoy your retreat.

Perhaps we should begin with that age old tradition: Look to your left. Now look to your right. Either you or one of those two people won’t be here in two years. Perhaps two of the three will be gone. If you are sitting in the wrong row, all three of you could be looking for work with the Potato...
