Someone should write a movie script about the 60s and how stupid and foolish the hippies were considered to be. They were a filthy joke......so what happened? They quit cheering for the greatness of Marx, Mao and Ho and got to work in specialised groups. They took over Hollywood....the public school system....all colleges and universities.....the three major tv networks, etc., etc. Their ideas have been ruinous to our society, but the once right of center nation is wholly controlled by pinko hippies and their (equally rabid) progeny. The must politically vulnerable President in our history just got re-elected....if we can't our views to the public, it's over.

But that’s all in a day’s work for a work-a-day climate warrior. The important thing isn’t the quest for the truth in global climate research, but, as Charlie Sheen would say, winning. With winning comes cash.

Because for some time it’s been clear, that in the climate debate, instead of actually accomplishing something worthwhile, all the attention will be...
