Here they go again... American corporations had better watch out when it comes to backing outfits like this....I have not eaten at McDonalds since they threw their support behind Handgun Control Incorporated. This was the name of the Brady group 20 years ago. They change their name every 8-10 years or so. "Hopenhagen" has cost the Coke Corporation. I will not support companies that assist politicians in degrading our rights. Just my $0.02.

I wanted to add this as well. Ruth was a hall-of-fame quality pitcher, pitching perfectly in games that mattered, well before he was known as a slugger. Amazing!

My impression of Thad was quite uninformed, but he did seem like a bright and interesting person. I must concur with his conclusions regarding the nastiness of politics in this day-and-age. I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. I like smart people to be involved in politics, but sometimes this attribute comes with a certain "quirkiness" which can cost the individual. Steve Forbes suffered from this, and we lost a chance to see what he might have done to repair our situation. Godspeed Sir.
