Pedophilia ala Sandusky is not the same thing as homosexuality between consenting adults. As to your question about anyone but leftwing ideologues the answer is more tha 60% of the pop. doesn't believe in discriminating in the Scouts. Regressives are always on the wrong side of history -- always afraid of their own shadow

Why don't you ask the Scouts themselves; the members, leaders and parents?

Strawman. No one's saying it is. What they're saying -- because it's a simple fact, however often denied -- is that a given male with same-sex attractions is statistically many times more likely to molest than a male without them. Besides, if you've already crossed one moral boundary, you're more likely to cross another.

"Regressives are always on the wrong side of history" - Nice ad hominem/name-calling. Conservative is not equal to regressive -- which is to be expected since "progressives" really aren't.

Yes, there is TONS of data which prove that homosexuals are many times more likely to sexually abuse a minor.

You just don't like it.

Sorry, people, but that's not going to magically become true no matter how many times you repeat it.

Boy Scouts learn to start fires by rubbing two sticks together. Now, the national Scout leadership is playing with fire. Scratch that; they’re playing with explosives.

Under consideration for a vote during a Feb. 4th to 6th board of directors meeting is a rules change that would overturn the Scouts’ ban on openly homosexual members and leaders.

A press release on Jan. 28 by Scouts spokesman Deron Smith said, “This would mean there would no longer be any national policy regarding sexual orientation, but that the chartered organizations that oversee and deliver Scouting would accept membership and select leaders consistent with...
