LOL!! Bush hid in his secret bunker after the attack-- what "kids" are you talking about? He hid out for 4 days until he finally made an appearance in NYC. If he had the courage, he would have flown to NYC that evening -- the disaster happened at 8:45 AM -- but he had to have his steak dinner and his workout and get to bed early. The point is, it doesn't matter what stupid sex scandal is going on -- state and national politics, particularly for a Pres. election have almost nothing in common. It doesn't make a damn bit of difference is the NC'ers love him or hate him -- the city is making a buttload of money on the convention, so you can bet they'll be nice!
