What we have left is what most civilized countries have...we must depend on those who are paid to put their lives on the line for us each and every day. Yes! I said it! The Police. They are trained professionals governed buy the same laws they so dutifully enforce. What training does George Zimmerman possess, if any? He exhibits the professionalism of a common hoodlum with his gun tucked in his waist. A properly holstered firearm would not be an easy task to wrestle away from its owner. If Trayvon Martin was forty pounds heavier and a few years wiser, we could all be talking about the poor Mr. Zimmerman who brought his "constitutional right to own a firearm" gun to a verbal dispute and lost his life.

Where were the police? They were called prior to this incident. The reality is that life moves at one speed, and police, firemen, and RESPONDERS move at another speed. Sorry CZARTOIS, People live and die in the Real world. Next time a punk sticks a knife in your ribs and steals your wallet, Iphone, and jewelry feel free to yell for the Police with your last breath and just maybe that bystander 50 feet away will pull his concealed weapon, eliminate your attacker and phone the ambulance to respond.
