And why do I care about his wife? How is she being smart and teaching at Kansas State (although, there is some irony in her moving from the Big Apple to the little apple, Manhattan, KS) supposed to head off the criticism being leveled against Col. West? Is this like when Maria Shriver campaigned around California and told the electorate that her husband couldn't have sexually harassed women who accused him because she knew him better than anyone and he was so well behaved? (...and this was at the same time that he apparently had a child with their live-in housekeeper, and she still didn't know...)
