The Republican party has a bad case amnesia. They forget what got us to where we are now. Medicare abd Medicade were initiated in the 60's. These two programs increased dramatically the between 2000 and 2010. Medicare costs doubled and Medicade tripled during that time. Most of that during the Bush Presidency and part of that time with Republicans in control of the House. Yet they did nothing to change the direction of these programs. This along with two unnessary and unfunded wars, and major tax cuts for the wealthy and presto you've got a major deficiet. Sure Democrats can take the blame for part of this problem, but Republican instead of working with Democrats, would rather take the Norquist Pledge than work for a solution.

I am so sick and tired of people like you. "Two unnecessary wars" but the Afgan war was the right war. Why the heck should anyone raise taxes when they (demoncrats) ever put towards actually paying down debt? All they use it for is more spending, period. NEVER raise taxes until there is a REAL cut in DC.

I am "WOWING" at the level of stupidity here - Call a spade a spade - In the age of information, it is no longer ignorance,.I am not one to call people names and do try to treat everyone with respect --. but please - You and your ilk make it difficult! lol
Even when the economy is terrible, when the incumbent Democratic president has not been able to demonstrate success on job creation or growth, and even when the standard of living for Americans is declining on his watch, the country will choose a Democrat "who cares about the problems of people like me" over the Republican. That alone is enough to make Republican heads spin for some time.

Many established beliefs about presidential politics have been proved false by Obama's reelection: 1.) The idea that, when unemployment is above 7 percent, incumbents fail; 2.) The notion that incumbent presidents who...
