The Case Against “Equality” Part 2

The bottom line is, you think that if two equally capable couples, one gay and one straight, are trying to adopt a child, that it's just fine and dandy to INTENTIONALLY deny a child a father or a mother. That is disgusting, stupid, and wrong. Period.
Hey, Joe My God pushed the "hate" button. Magic! You just call someone a "hater" or claim they preach "hate," and they magically become a hater who hates, even if they love people and have rational and spiritual convictions about the purpose of sex!

Well put, Ben.
Alex Jones refused to let Piers Morgan control the interview. Smart move. He was rude, though, but if you want to win an argument with a liberal, you can't take the high road. They're going to twist everything anyway.
Piers is usually the bully in interviews, sniveling at social conservatives, cross-examining them with stupid questions, and playing gotcha games. He got a taste of his own schtick - albeit much ruder and louder. Just desserts for a small man.
I like how this article separates marriage into its three spheres: religious, familial, governmental. The gay marriage issue isn't about marriage, it's about acceptance and forcing everyone to recognize homosexuality as equal to heterosexuality when it clearly is not. It is a subtle form of tyranny in the guise of fighting tyranny. It is demanding rights at the expense of the rights of others (mostly religious liberty rights), even though taking the rights of others isn't even necessary in this case.
I agree with most of what you say, David, but the fact is that the APA's decision to normalize homosexuality was very controversial amongst their professional community - and is still controversial among mental health professionals today who still see a strong correlation between homosexuality and other psychological issues. One could argue that these issues are due to cultural persecution of homosexuality, but the fact that these issues are even more pronounced in areas that are friendly to homosexuality does not help that argument.

A Warning to Moral Conservatives

Here's the dirty little secret: gays don't really believe in marriage equality, nor does any sane person. In the same breath they talk about "equality," they'll admit they oppose granting marriage rights to polygamists, incestuals, people who want to many animals and trees, etc. Gay "marriage" does not make any logical sense at any level whatsoever. Every argument crumbles in a heaping pile of hypocrisy, entitlement, and disgust for Judeo-Christian values.

Love the boldness, the incisive reasoning...excellent, Mr. Adams. You're one of my new heroes.
Obama can't win arguments with real conservatives, so he makes straw men to argue with instead. Pathetic.
