Agreed, Amy. I was reading about the push to unionize fast food employees on the east coast this morning. It seems like a logical progression when you remove the jobs that people USED to unionize, picket, and generally raise a ruckus over: manufacturing jobs. When you remove the employment lynchpin of American society (manufac) people have little else left to turn to but those base service jobs. It seems as though people are turning to this sector to fill the hole left by the manufacturing sector. This takes more than just one man to create - this sort of economic and business decay takes DECADES of bad decisions and terrible policy.
