Allen West: “Bin Laden Being Dead is Not Foreign Policy”

Allen West has more brains in his little toe than Olabamba has behind that ugly smug facade of his. ANY president would have said yes to that raid, I'm guessing even yellow-belly Carter. So if that's all he has to show for his foreign policy " achievements" we're not buying it, again. It must have been a real brain teaser to say "OK, go ahead, kill the ratbastard". A high school kid would have taken that extremely difficult decision. An American Embassy was attacked and an American Ambassador was massacred as a result of his FAILED foreign policy, on the anniversary of America's worst disaster ever of all days.Guess the Muslims also know the meaning of turning the other cheek and they slapped it vigorously.

Can you say Bay of Pigs II. Regardless of your awesome hindsight (which is 20/20), it isn't exactly a cut and dry, we can do this no problem, kind of decision. Evidenced by the fact that one of those helicopters is still in pieces in Pakistan.

Not really, the pieces are in China and it was mechanical failure or pilot error that brought it down.

According to the book "No Easy Day," all the classified avionics were removed from the downed helicopter, which was subsequently blown up.

Leave it to conservatives to ignore the point.

I wasn't actually claiming the pieces were still in Pakistan, I was saying the fact that we blew up and left a helicopter in the compound shows that it wasn't just a simple, cut and dry decision. That there actually were many complexities to take into consideration. I don't really care where the pieces are now...

I have never believed Obama new about the raid on bin Laden until after it was set in motion and was too late for him to abort. When Bush was in office, everyone on the left said if Bush got him and his liutenants and didn't bring them back to stand trial, Bush and Cheney should be charged with murder and put on trial as war criminals. I haven't noticed the same outrage toward Obama and Biden. I guess it's okay for Democrats to kill our enemies but if Republicans do it it's murder and war crimes.

This clip is a few days old but worth watching in its entirety. Appearing on “On the Record” with Greta Van Susteren Thursday night, Congressman Allen West (R-FL) explained why “it’s insane” for the Obama administration to base their entire foreign policy on the death of Osama bin Laden. Take a look:
