One of the benefits of a man in your position, Mr. Doherty, is having the power to shape people's perceptions of a candidate's positions by being selective in what you cull from the debate. I'm alluding to Michele Bachmann's performance and what you carefully left out of your analysis: Her statement on the Islamic doctrines that are used to educate Muslim students (the books which teach that Jews are descended from apes and pigs) being our big problem was Bachmann's strongest showing of the night. She's correct. Stephanopoulos tried to cut her off as she spoke on this. Muslim doctrine is abjectly ignored by the Western Press Corps. And you, sir, by also skipping over it, are a part of our problem. John Work Johnstown, CO

It is noteworthy that Presidents Clinton and Bush 43 also made the errnoeous and delusional disconnection between overt acts of jihad and the mainstream Muslim doctrine that drives them, as codified in the Koran and the Hadithe. This ongoing denial of reality, which is continuing like a rolling freight train in Mr. Obama's adminstration is eventually going to destroy us and subjugate us to Sharia.

Well, well, well, it's so nice to get a breath of fresh air once in awhile.

The only thing that Mr. Hunt has failed to do is to point the finger of recrimination in the direction of the main American Press and Media Corps, which has done everything within its collective power to conceal and obfuscate the truth about Islam. We could start with CNN's Christiane Amanpour and go from there.

Most Americans get their info from big papers and big media news outlets. And it is therein we can cast our guilty votes for hiding facts from us about our big problem: Islam.

Like Mr. Hunt, following 9/11/01 I did my research and read my history of Muhammad's life, times, deeds, pronouncements and final instructions to his...
Diana West didn't make the lily pad suggestion for Afghanistan - General Vallely did. She just asked the questions about what he would do with Afghanistan. If you will take the time to read her interview with him, everything he said about the strategy as it relates to Afghanistan (including getting our troops out of there) is in that interview.

And I beg to differ with you about large military bases not being constructed these days. My nephew just finished his third U.S. Army Infantry tour in Iraq. The bases he served on were huge. Next he goes to Afghanistan.

So, what are we going to gain by implementing a huge troop buildup in that hellhole? If I recall correctly rather recently in the history of that region of the...
I'm a friend of Diana West.

You two haven't paid a bit of attention to what Diana West has been writing. And how about you stop calling names and deal with the issues?

West advocates General Paul Vallely's "lilly pad" strategy to deal with Afghanistan. Read it for yourself. I'm not going to explain it here. I agree with West and with General Vallely.

And Justaguy - you are from all appearances operating from no understanding of Islamic doctrine, law, scripture, history, hadithe and tradition. If you knew anything about Islam, you would understand that it won't matter how many American lives we give up to win hearts and minds - we're just Infidels and it is in fact against Islamic doctrine to form true...
The birth certificate is but one heretofore concealed document that is at the heart of the President's background, a sealed history that includes college admissions records from all three universities he attended, transcripts, financial aid applications, written theses, records of the President's editorial work on the Harvard Law Review, and his records and calendar from the Illinois State Legislature. Is it not odd that we have elected a man who has spent considerable sums of money to ensure that we know nearly nothing of his personal history, save that which he told us in his two books?

Incidentally, according to my research, President Obama was a founding member, chairman and president of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge,...

Given the scenario you presented, the Muslim would behead me and rejoice in the act with his brothers.

There is no way to tell when a seemingly "peaceful" Muslim will decide to answer the call to jihad and become a terrorist and visit random violence upon non-believers. It's impossible to predict. Ergo, I do not trust any Muslim, ever - not to keep an agreement (I'm familiar with Muhammad's Treaty of Hudaibiyya in 628 A.D., which set the groundwork for all Muslims to lawfully break their promises to Infidels), and not in any other matter. I am now and forever nothing more than an Infidel to any Muslim.

I chose sides long ago. My only hope is that this wide-spread war that is surely coming to the world arrives soon...

I will happily identify my biases. I love this country. I'm not a Jew. I am a Christian, albeit one who has not been to church for a long, long time.

Georgeann, apparently you've never watched a stoning, a beheading, an amputation, a flogging, an anal impaling of a homosexual on a wooden stake - all events that legally occur within, and are sanctioned by, the World of Islam:

1) All Muslims are not terrorists.
2) I do not advocate killing all Muslims.
3) Jihad is the highest calling of every Muslim.
4) Islam is the only religious doctrine in the world that advocates violence against non-believers who will not convert or submit themselves to dhimmitude.
5) There is no way to reconcile Islamic doctrine...

Ms. West is a brilliant political/military analyst and she has a solid understanding of Islam, which is much more than I can say about many of our elected officials and military upper brass.

The one Army Major who was well-versed in the legal and religious bases for the world-wide jihad movement, Stephen Coughlin, Juris Doctor, was run out of the Pentagon when he came into conflict with a retired U.S. Naval Muslim Chaplain, this after Couglin's written thesis exposed the direct links between jihad and Muslim doctrine and Koranic scripture.

Coughlin was our premier military expert on jihad and Islamic law.

Under pressure from the Muslim wing of the Pentagon, Gordon England sent Coughlin out the door. Diana West...
