When it comes to battling Democrat policies, talk radio is much more energetic than Republicans in Washington. Conservative Americans can't understand why the Democrats are willing and able to batter Republicans senseless, using any kind of language and ram through any kind of legislation they want, yet Republicans feel constrained to "play nice." The only explanation that has sounded sensible is that Liberals control the party scene in D.C., and Republicans don't want to be left off the guest list. Such sissy socialites should be sent packing, back to the restaurant or auto dealership they came from. Conservatives need more tiger blood in their veins, and less vermouth.

President Barack Obama is naming names in his second term when it comes to his un-preferred media, something he generally farmed out to White House staff and political surrogates during the first term.

The president, in a recent interview with The New Republic, found scapegoats for Washington gridlock.

“One of the biggest factors is going to be how the media shapes debates,” Obama told TNR. “If a Republican member of Congress is not punished on Fox News or by Rush Limbaugh for working with a Democrat on a bill of common interest, then you’ll see more of them doing it.”
