Spartacus, I believe you are correct. Most Californians are blind to their own stupidity by continuing to elect socialist state legislators. It's the ultimate band of utopia-seekers. So, on the day when Gov. Moonbeam declares bankruptcy, we'll see the populace wailing, gnashing their teeth, and calling for Uncle Sam to rescue them. With any luck, there will still be a Republican House, so it won't happen. Maybe we'll be luckier still. Maybe we can watch as those idiotic Californians also have rolling blackouts, too, like a decade ago. The wind stops blowing occasionally, the sun goes down every night, and they've shut down all their fossil fuel plants. Oh dear. :o)

Even with a republican house, look for them to cave on a CA bailout. The GOP will be spineless in the face of a progressive media onslaught and Obama will blame them for everything instead of blaming the progressive "leadership" actually responsible for the mess in the first place.

You have to remember, woofpacker, progressives are loathe to accept responsibility for their actions. CA will be out of money, but loons like Feinstein, Brown, Boxer. etc. won't be held accountable, just like Obama isn't being held accountable for his dismal record on unemployment and the economy.
