One of the best comments I've ever heard about this subject was by Donald Trump. He said "the Chinese are laughing at us." I'm all for capitalism but it should be done with integrity and principle. The bible says "what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul." Mark 8:36 Corporations line the pockets of their execs with outrageous bonuses and benefits. It's called greed and it's an abomination to God. A business can make a healthy profit retaining talented, principled workers without overcharging consumers. They make products overseas and pay Chinese labor a dollar a day then bring their goods back to the US and charge the same price as if it were made in the USA. Does that sound honest to you?

The businesses that support and lobby for so-called free trade are always trying to wrap themselves in Ronald Reagan. But that's false because Reagan would not have allowed America to be cheated coming and going by foreign countries.

Of course, Reagan was for international trade, but he did not see it or use it as a stepping-stone to global governance; he did not accept cheating by foreign countries or rules set by panels of countries that hate and envy us or any vision of globalism. Reagan looked upon foreign trade as a component of American economic and military superiority...
