I can distinguish between the two but a lot of you rightwingers don't seem able to cuz rightwing religious nutjobs are constantly claiming that atheists have no moral values. The nutjobs usually cite Biblical scripture as supporting evidence for the moral values they hold so if you have a problem with people like me believing you're conflating the two perhaps you should take it up with them. If Christian values aren't derived from Christian theology in your world, where do they come from? Do you agree with Scalia that govt derives its authority from God? And if you don't, does it worry that you that he believes such things?
