I love animals and want them treated humanely. I was a vegitarian for a while and both of my duaghtes were for over 10 years, and one still is. My youngest had her mind changed by professors at the school of environmental sciene at Indiana U while getting her masters. Very liberal, but most scientists try to stay in touch with reality. Regulated hunting is 1000 times better than no hunting. Revenue from sportsmen, fund most effective environmental regulations.

As eager families travel to relatives’ homes this week to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal, they may be surprised by billboards from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals discouraging holiday merriment. The billboards are targeted at children, reading “KIDS: If you wouldn’t eat your dog, why eat a turkey? Go Vegan.” People for the Ethical Treatment of Animal’s latest advertising ploy in Nevada and California is sure to make people lose their appetites.
