Yes and getting stronger than ever now that they are distancing themselves from the republicans. The Tea party agenda is popular among everybody except liberals and big govt republicans. Smaller, less intrusivie govt, fiscal responsibility, adherence to the constitution and lower taxes. If they get a charismatic salesperson, they will attract even more conservatives, libertarians, constitutionalists and fiscally responsible democrats.
