Anybody remember what FICA stands for and what it is earmarked for? Currently there is a cap on it; earn above the cap and all you have to pay is just the cap amount. That sounds like a break for the rich, monies that could help keep us afloat. Fair is fair, guys.

The cap is over 100,000 a year for chrissake, a break for the rich? WHY should anyone have to pay more for the lousy return on that money? The folks down in Texas who found a loophole out of that GD Ponzi scheme, have more than twice what anyone else gets and the money is THEIRS to hand down to their kids...Why should what WE paid in go to someone ELSE's kids when we croak? IT was OURS. This regime wants the inheritance tax that GW got rid of BTW "so that familie can't amass fortunes to leave to their kids" You OK with that communism 101?

There's also a cap on how much you can receive back, is there not?

If you made a list of all the broken promises and false assurances that liberals made about these entitlement programs, it would probably be longer than the 2,000 page ObamaCare bill.

On the USS Wisconsin in Norfolk harbor, a coatless Mitt Romney named a tieless Paul Ryan as his vice presidential nominee.

Romney's choice was not much of a surprise after he told NBC's Chuck Todd on Thursday that he wanted someone with a "vision for the country, that adds something to the political discourse about the direction of the country. I mean, I happen to believe this is a defining election for America, that we're going to be voting for what kind of America we're going to have."

This arguably describes some of the others mentioned as possible nominees, but it...
