Liberals believe "democracy" means "majority rule", but only when the liberals have the majority. When the GOP was in power ten years ago all we heard about was "the rights of the minority". BTW - Majority rule is being served here. We in MI voted down the unions attempt to put collective bargaining for all workers (public and private) into our state constitution on Nov. 6. We also voted for the state reps who are going to pass this law today. They all won their offices with DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED MAJORITIES.

The vote to turn Michigan into a right-to-work state will take place today after days of protests in Lansing about the pro-worker legislation that prevents having to pay dues to a union. Not surprisingly, local police are bracing for possible violence today as more protests are planned.

Even with the outcome considered a foregone conclusion, the heated battle over right-to-work legislation in the traditional union bastion of Michigan shows no sign of cooling.
