For bitoubush, Re: "A recent report from the Dept on Energy found that Canada cannot fill the pipeline capacity already in existence." 1. Gee. Obama's DOE says the KXL pipeline isn't needed? Who'da thunk it? 2. Only a partisan, gullible fool would think the Canadian oil companies would design a pipeline can't fill and then spend billions to build it. 3. Here's the problem with leftist robots like you. You think it's Obama's duty to save Canadian oil companies from making bad investments with their own private money, but there's nothing wrong with Obama wasting billions of US taxpayer's money on solar panels and hybrid cars that will never be sold, let alone actually used to reduce our dependency on foreign oil and domestic coal.

Wise one you are not very wise. The existing pipelines end in the mid-west, supplying oil-refineries in those regions. A new pipeline is proposed so oil can be shipped to the gulf coast refineries with the intent of selling it on the world market. In front of the White House, protesters led by actress Daryl Hannah and the head of the Sierra Club demanded that Obama kill the project. Just a few blocks away, the head of the AFL-CIO's powerful Building and Construction Trades Department joined with the American Petroleum Institute to demand that Obama approve it.
