Wotan, Re: ADDI You are only the umpteenth troll in the last four years or so to get so desperate to pawn the crash off on Bush that you have brought this up. W's initiative provided down payment grants to QUALIFIED BUYERS. It did not force lenders to take mortgages from unqualified buyers. If a down payment of 10% is made that's the end of the gov't commitment and the end of the taxpayers' liability. It's also PAID. AT CLOSING. It doesn't get bundled together with lots of other 'bad paper' and sold to some unsuspecting chump as a "mortgage-backed security." DEMOCRATS own the Housing crash. Lock, stock, and barrel. Deal with it.

BTW Wotan, you really shouldn't go around calling other people "zombies" when you apparently don't know the difference between a down payment and a mortgage.

The theater of the absurd that is our presidential election keeps chugging along with all the vigor our economy doesn’t. One can’t blame Democrats for attempting distraction upon distraction, given the alternative of talking about President Obama’s record.

After all, if it is indeed about the economy, stupid, the only votes there for Democrats are mindless drones who don’t care that nary an economic indicator has improved since Barack Obama took office $5 trillion in new debt ago.
