The Bush tax cuts, about which you libs never stop whining, resulted in more INCREASES in revenue than the Iraq war cost. The deficits under Bush were caused by the Democrats in the Senate obstructing every budget that didn't increase entitlement spending enough to suit them. Then, and their entitlement increases resulted in budget deficits they made a big public show of blaming the deficits on Bush and the Iraq war. You are obviously unaware that in fiscal 2007, the last budget passed by Bush with a Republican Congress, the deficit was $162 billion. In Obama's first year the deficit was TEN TIMES that amount.
Polling out this week indicates a close race between Republican Linda McMahon and Democrat Chris Murphy in the race to represent Connecticut in the U.S. Senate. Republicans are hoping to pick up a seat in deep blue territory.

The Quinnipiac poll released Thursday showed McMahon in the lead, 48-47, which would be a huge pick-up for McMahon. Polling has shown McMahon consistently behind but climbing over the past few months. All four polls released since August have shown McMahon and Murphy within three points of each other.
