Why Obama Will Lose in a Landslide

OH BOY... I'm bookmarking this link for November. The reason why Obama will LIKELY win again is the same reason Bush won again in 2004 (and you could say the same thing - did he gain ANY new voters? No.) You can't run a campaign on solely, "I'm not THEM!" Kerry's campaign was, I'm not Bush. Romney's campaign is, I'm not Obama. You can't win. And liberals hate conservatives as much as everyone here hates liberals, and they speak just as harshly of Romney as you guys here speak of Obama. It will certainly be closer than the 2008 election, and Obama is certainly beatable, but not by Romney. Jon Huntsman could have beat Obama. Huntsman is a Republican in the same way that Teddy Roosevelt or Dwight Eisenhower were...

Bush actually gained votes in 2004 over 2000, and he won by a much bigger margin. Your comparison doesn't make any sense. In addition, the country was moving in a positive direction in 2004, unemployment was less than 5% and the economy was growing at about 3% per year. The record during Obama's on the economy has been terrible, with little hope for improvement. I think most folks are ready for a change.

Going into 2008 I knew McCain was going to lose. There just wasn't that much perceptible difference between the candidates. 2012 is a whole new ball game.
I can't wait till November

2008 popular vote: 69,456,897[O] 59,934,814[M]

If Romney gets the exact same amount of votes as McCain, and Obama loses 9 mil from 2008, Obama still wins.

Most political predictions are made by biased pollsters, pundits, or prognosticators who are either rooting for Republicans or Democrats. I am neither. I am a former Libertarian Vice Presidential nominee, and a well-known Vegas oddsmaker with one of the most accurate records of predicting political races.

Neither Obama nor Romney are my horses in the race. I believe both Republicans and Democrats have destroyed the U.S. economy and brought us to the edge of economic disaster. My vote will go to Libertarian Presidential candidate Gary Johnson in November, whom I believe has the most fiscally conservative track record of any Governor...
