Because it is relevant to today. Who are the racists in policy and action? Democrats. Who fights against integration, fights policies intended to help lift people out of poverty, fights to keep racist policies that keep blacks and hispanics on the plantation? Democrats. I had a much longer post, but after two tries, I gave up. The Democrats were the racists then, and they're the racists NOW.

Liberals ignored my book Mugged: Racial Demagoguery from the Seventies to Obama throughout the fall. Now that I'm safely home from my book tour, they feel free to jabber on about their make-believe history of the civil rights movement with abandon.
