This administration has to learn what Nixon learned much too late: the American public can tolerate huge mistakes in their politicians, but they have no sympathy for liars, especially inept ones. Once again the cover-up is worse than the event. I hope, now that their ox has been gored, the main stream media finds the pit bull that they traded in five years ago for a lap dog.
We speculated when our Second Amendment rights were being trampled with the full support of the main stream media what might happen if the First Amendment were treated the same way. They now find themselves to be the targets of illegal government actions that they did not not criticize when they were directed at others...and they don't like it. They are re-learning the lesson of what happens when you let a government use its power against others...sooner or later it will use it against you. It's a sad commentary that it took more than five years for the liberal media to see the obvious.

May I add another one? Disproportionate. Its use tracks perfectly with the abandonment of equality of opportunity in pursuit of equality of outcome.
A small correcton...the state does not actually approve a weapon purchase when they do a background check. The paperwork comes back marked "disapproved" or "not disapproved". They are total wimps, who don't want to take a chance that they might be shown in writing to have approved something that later comes back to bite them.
Democrats fail to meet even the miserably low standards they set for themselves, so this should come as no surprise. The more spectacularly they fail, the higher they rise in the party.
What's the punishment for lying when applying for your license to practice law? He claimed never to have used a name other than the one he now goes by.
Well they may not know the difference between automatic and semi-automatic, but they know that once you use a high capacity magazine you can't use it again...wait, that's not right either, is it?
Not directly to the Palestinians. The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt will get them from us and pass them on.
I looked very closely at the AR-15s carried by Massachusetts law enforcement over the last couple of weeks. They were definitely not in compliance with state law which prohibits magazines holding more than 10 rounds, removable carry handles, and collapsible stocks.
Maryland has clamped down very hard on those of us who acquire weapons legally. By its own internal regulations the state requires the state police to complete the state background checks in no more than 7 work days. The Federal NICS check is done in minutes on the day the weapon is purchased. Then and only then does the state check begin. Since the beginning of 2013 the processing time for the state background check has increased dramatically to 8 - 10 weeks, during which time the bought-and-paid-for weapon is held by the dealer who already has the federal approval in hand. Gun dealers are chafing at the bureaucratic delays, but the state is pressuring them not to release the weapon without state approval.
