carter? defense build up? lmao i lived it ,he decimated the military ,they couldnt perform any task for lack of funds for training ,bullets ,etc...equipment was not maintained for lack of parts.. he killed the military and everything else ,if he increased militayry spending it was after he destroed it the first few tear... he was a disgrace

If Barack Obama is defeated, the irresistible comparison will be with Jimmy Carter. A one-term president was rejected after pursuing big government programs amid high energy prices and attacks on America in the Middle East.
