But it was the 13th as it was rewritten and forced on the Confederate states to rejoin the Union that set the stage for the 14th Amendment and it's declaration of the end of the sovereign and the proclamation of the Citizen and the end of the Republic and the establishment of the Democracy. The States were taken from the people and they would become powerless and meaningless in the years to some. They were incorporated and put UNDER the federal government. Check Dunn % Bradstreet listings. Our federal and state governments are all corporations. They deal with each other and you in a way that is not of the Old Republic.
