Congratulations. You have been deceived and you like it. I have nothing against seniors until I read about the senior vote going for the side that announces that the other side is going to eliminate, reduce, change, "break into the lock-box", or otherwise starve seniors or at best make them eat cat food. It's not about any group. It is about politicians scaring you to vote a certain way. But if we remove voting privileges for welfare recipients, then we will have to do the same across the board. Only Taxpayers should vote. Any taxpayer receiving any form of money from the government (farm subsidies anyone) should be barred from voting. Anyone else receiving money from the government should be barred from voting.

Firearm-related homicides declined 39 percent and nonfatal firearm crimes declined 69 percent from 1993 to 2011, the Justice Department’s Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) announced today.
