Why did this website fail to cover the groundbreaking panel on gay rights at CPAC ("Rainbow on the Right"). Jonah Goldberg was a host -- to a standing room only crowd -- and Jonah is a frequent contributers to this site. Why did this website fail to cover conservative Rob Portman's reversal to now fully support gay marriage?

I am the adoptive mother of a homosexual and unlike Sen Portman I have let him know what I think of his perversion and that God sees it as an ABOMINATION..I pray daily he will NOT die in his sins...I refuse to love my son into He!! just to be politically correct. So if Portman doesn't have the spiritual
confidence to tell his son the truth.

Because it wasn't grounbreaking. It was pandering. Conservatives do not and will not support gay marriage. Thus the so called panel was hand picked to come up with a desired conclusion. Notice how it is already forgotten.
btw- A gay can be a Conservative but a person who calls themselves "Gay Conservatives" can not possibly be- which is why GoProud was not and should never have been invited in the past

Jonah said this was a very popular panel --- lots of emotions, active audience participation, packed room -- that felt more like a "rally" than a panel.

CPAC also had a panel against gay marriage and the room was half-empty and not a success.

His Head Is Up The Hersey Highway

Former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin repeatedly brought a jam packed crowd to its feet during her speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference Saturday.

Palin covered everything from overpaid Washington D.C. consultants, gun control and crony capitalism to New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg’s recently shot down big gulp ban.

As Townhall readers know, elections are always on our minds and the next one was on Palin’s mind today as she advocated for an outside-the-beltway approach to the future.

“The next election is 20 months away, now...
