I wouldn't ascribe such reporting as something to depress the vote as much as something to get the voters anxious to turn out and turn the vote around. Maybe you should consider that.

The GOP is getting nervous about the polls and have their Big Shots, such as Karl Rove, showing up with his white boards to explain how the polls are skewed in favor of the Dems. I saw a CNN report on why Rove's explanation is faulty. It made perfect sense. Fox has become a virtual 24/7 Romney campaign ad. I have watched a lot of CNN for two reasons: One, there is actual news going on in the world, and secondly, I want to hear what other people are saying. Wolf Blitzer carried two stories that were favorable to Romney and none favorable to Obama!

Summers, you're a dying breed -- thoughtful, articulate, old school conservative. You're surrounded by all these Bachmann/Cain types here who rarely argue coherently nor admit apprehension. You need to find a way to wrest control of the party away from the crazies because the country desperately NEEDS a sane lib & conservative party balancing & keeping each other in check. Rove is a con man, only appearing on friendly programs (esp. Hannity) that would never dream of questioning his methods.

Actually, will, you will be quite disappointed to learn that I like Cain. I liked a few of the primary contenders, just not Romney. I was never a Bachmann fan, but she had a lot of them here.

I am voting against Obama. If there were no reason other than Eric Holder, that would be sufficient for me. However, I have many more reasons other than Holder.

The only poll that counts is the one in November.
